LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER BLDG. C RESTORATION

Primary scope of work was to repair the damage caused by a broken water line inside the 22,000 sf Learning Resources Center (LRC) at Cuyamaca College. The secondary focus of this project was to complete a remodel of the building. New work included replacement of carpet and tile flooring, drywall, baseboards and floor-mounted casework. Additional work included new cabinets, desks and millwork; new partition walls and ceilings, decorative wooden ceilings, and fire alarm system. One special item of new work was a new metal and fabric finished barrel-shaped acoustic ceiling over the main entrance to the building. Work performed by MTM crews included new partition walls, tile flooring and all paint.

BLDG. L AUDIO/VISUAL REMODEL

The scope of this project was to install an Extron audio/visual switching system for four classrooms. The system provided the capability of switching between images from computers, VCR/DVD players, document cameras, or other AV sources and then routing the images to the LCD projector in each classroom for screen display. Audio associated with images were switched simultaneously to an amplifier connected to ceiling-mounted speakers.
